The Coconut PU surface feels luxuriously soft with a refined textured finish that is comfortable beneath your hands and feet. It offers a grounded feel with natural non-slip grip. Ideal for Unheated yoga or Pilates. Our Coconut PU material is crafted using coconut oil rather than petroleum, unlike many other yoga mats. Each mat has a thick, supportive, SGS Certified natural rubber base.

TulaBala Athlete mat - Care Instructions

• Roll the mat with the graphics facing out, to prevent wrinkling in the top layer. 
• Before rolling for storage, ensure the mat is dry to avoid moisture damage.
• After every practice, wipe down the mat with a natural cleanser.
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent color changes and store the mat in a cool, dry place
• Clean mat before first use to remove residue from the manufacturing and shipping process 
• Avoid having lotions, rings, or bracelets on hand or feet during use to prevent scratches & staining
• Do not machine wash

Cleaning Instructions

Easy cleaning (regular maintenance)

What you need:

• Microfiber towel
• Natural mat cleaning spray or homemade essential oil cleaner

Steps:

1. Lightly spray the cleaner onto the towel — never directly onto the mat.
2. Wipe the surface of the mat using the damp towel.
3. Allow the mat to air dry fully before rolling and storing.

Deep cleaning (occasional refresh)

What you need:

• Sponge
• Bowl of warm soapy water (natural soap recommended)
• At least two microfiber towels (one damp, one dry)

Steps:

1. Dip the sponge into the soapy water and gently sponge the mat.
   
2. Wipe the mat with a clean damp towel to remove any soap residue.
   
3. Wipe again with a dry towel to remove excess moisture.
   
4. Hang the mat and allow it to dry completely before rolling and storing.
